Still time to support CPC in 2022

Dear Friends of CPC,

Good news---our Holiday Season Matching Gift Challenge continues!

Earlier this month we introduced you to Robert (story below) and asked for your support in our holiday fundraising campaign. If you have not yet had the chance to make your gift, there is still time to help clients like Robert before the calendar year ends. Not only will your gift directly impact someone from our local community, your gift will be doubled by a special donor who will match every gift up to $25,000! You can help CPC double the impact & double the kindness as we close out the 2022 year. All gifts made before midnight on 12/31/22 will be included in our matching gift campaign.

As the year winds down, we reflect on how grateful we are to have your friendship & support which is so valuable in our mission to help our neighbors with mental health and addiction challenges live healthy and productive lives. On behalf of the CPC community, I wish you a healthy and happy new year filled with peace, hope and connection.

Gratefully,

Lynn Lucarelli

Your gift to CPC can support clients like Robert.

After a childhood filled with trauma and multiple foster care placements, Robert--like many of the people who seek treatment at CPC, wound up hospitalized with significant mental illness in his early twenties. Without the ability to maintain himself in the community, Robert came to CPC for help. He was homeless and unable to support himself and was having a very difficult time trusting others and participating in treatment. Over time, and with the compassionate expertise of trained clinicians at CPC, Robert was able to commit to his personal recovery journey. Counselors were able to provide support from a holistic perspective, addressing mental and physical health, along with housing stability & social wellbeing.

Robert continues to work on his recovery and maintains his ability to live successfully in the community. He has made healthy peer connections, and is currently working with our employment program. Robert is a grateful recipient of CPC’s Emergency Assistance Fund which provided him with temporary housing, a warm coat and transportation to job interviews.

CPC provides hope and illuminates a path forward to recovery for thousands of people each year in our local community like Robert. Your support helps move our mission forward, while helping individuals achieve health & peace, and a sense of community & purpose--something we all strive for in our own lives.

Help change a life!

Your gift supports the urgent and essential necessities of our clients. Through CPC's Emergency Assistance Fund, we provide the safety-net of care that helps our neighbors who are experiencing significant mental illness and substance use disorders including:

  • temporary housing

  • gift cards for warm coats, self-care items & food for the holidays

  • high-cost medications

  • transportation to counseling & doctor appointments.

As you consider your end-of-year charitable giving plans for 2022, please consider including CPC and know how deeply we appreciate your support.
